Living Donation Week 2022 is over, but the passion, dedication and action we generated lives on.

On September 12, we launched Great Actions Leave A Mark, a collaborative public awareness campaign highlighting the beautiful gift that is given when a living kidney or liver donor steps forward to save the life of another, and encouraging more Canadians to get involved.

Please join us in sharing the amazing stories of hope, courage and generosity on greatactions.ca,  and follow us, the Ajmera Transplant Centre, and our collaborating partners on social media, as we uncover many more.

Thank you to the remarkable living donors and recipients whose great actions are motivating Canadians to explore living donation, and inspiring little girls like Delfina to show their transplant scars proudly.

Thank you to Stephanie Dyriw, Daniele Petrosino and the YE team for bringing this campaign to life with your creative vision and generous support.

And thank you to everyone who made this year's Living Donation Week a cause for celebration - living donors, recipients and those hoping for a donor, caregivers, speakers, moderators, partners, and sponsors.  A special thanks to communities across the country that lit up green in a sea of blue, and transplant teams everywhere who are not only providing lifesaving care but also lifting spirits and making the transplant and donation journey a little easier. You can read some of these stories here

So much to be thankful for, and so many more things to look forward to in the months ahead.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
