Blackboard Ultra Spring Training Miniseries

Would you like a head start on getting familiar with the Blackboard Ultra Course view? Learning Technologies is providing a hands-on miniseries covering Ultra for those go-getters who want to start learning right away. Sessions are worth 1 hour of PDH. 

Communicating with Students

Communicating with Students in Blackboard Ultra will cover the different tools in Ultra  you can use to communicate with your students either individually or as a whole.

The Gradebook Pt. 2

The Ultra Gradebook Part 2 will provide a deeper dive into the Ultra Gradebook.

Participants will receive access to an Ultra Development Course that they can use during the session. If you already have an Ultra Development shell, you may opt to use that one instead.

Trainings will take place on the COD main campus and will each last for one hour. If you can't make it to these sessions, don't worry--there will be plenty more opportunities to learn about Ultra to come with additional trainings and topics during the Summer and Fall terms.

Blackboard Ultra courses include the AI Design Assistant for faculty. Come learn how the AI Design Assistant can serve as a starting point for developing Learning Modules, Rubrics, Question Banks, Assessments, and Course Images. Especially helpful if you’re developing an online course from scratch, or are looking for a little inspiration to update your course.

If you missed the Tuesday session all about H5P, you can watch the recording! You'll get to see the different H5P live engagement tools and their effectiveness in enhancing student interaction.

Reminder: Ensure Midterm Verifications Are In Before Attempting to Enter Final Grades
 
A friendly reminder to ensure that your Midterm Verifications have been submitted!
 
Why? For all Undergrad and Adult Education courses, Midterm Verifications must be entered before Final Grades can be entered. The Academic Records Integration tool will prevent you from entering Final Grades if Midterm Verifications have not been entered.
