Collecting feedback throughout a lesson is crucial for student success because it enables instructors to refine their teaching methods and cater to students' needs more effectively. H5P Live Engagement Tools facilitate the gathering of immediate feedback in fun and interactive ways. This presentation will showcase the different H5P live engagement tools and illustrate their effectiveness in enhancing student interaction.

Would you like a head start on getting familiar with the Blackboard Ultra Course view? Learning Technologies is providing a hands-on miniseries covering Ultra for those go-getters who want to start learning right away. Sessions are worth 1 hour of PDH. 

Getting Started with Learn Ultra

Getting Started with Ultra will show the new Ultra Course view and walk through adding content to a course.

The Gradebook Pt. 1
April 25, 2024 at 9 a.m. SRC 3020

The Ultra Gradebook will provide an overview of the Ultra Gradebook and the basic features you can utilize.

Communicating with Students
May 2, 2024 at 9 a.m. SRC 3020

Communicating with Students in Blackboard Ultra will cover the different tools in Ultra  you can use to communicate with your students either individually or as a whole.

The Ultra Gradebook Part 2 will provide a deeper dive into the Ultra Gradebook.

Participants will receive access to an Ultra Development Course that they can use during the session. If you already have an Ultra Development shell, you may opt to use that one instead.

Trainings will take place on the COD main campus and will each last for one hour. If you can't make it to these sessions, don't worry--there will be plenty more opportunities to learn about Ultra to come with additional trainings and topics during the Summer and Fall terms.

Final Reminder: Download Your Spring 2024 Collaborate Ultra Recordings

Collaborate Ultra is being replaced by Zoom after the Spring 2024 term. All recordings created through the end of SP2024 Term will be removed before the Summer 2024 term begins, the week of May 27th. 

If you want to backup or reuse videos from the past term that were recorded with Collaborate Ultra, you will need to download the recordings before the deletion deadline. You may store the recording files on your own devices or share them with current and future classes via YuJa.
