When we think of February, many of us think about Valentines Day and roses. However, the symbolic flowers of February are violets, signifying loyalty and friendship, and the primrose, which lets someone know you can’t live without them (very fitting for transplant recipients and their donors).

February is also the shortest and the coldest month of the year - one more reason to snuggle up with the people (and paws) you love.

Do you have a story of love and transplant that you would like to share during the month of February? Is there someone special you want to thank or recognize? Be part of our #GiveLoveUHN or #HeartTheTeam series.

Happy February, stay warm and let's celebrate love in all its forms!
