Mold is a frequent concern in Evangel University’s residence halls, especially in older buildings with inadequate ventilation. This issue can cause a variety of health symptoms, including respiratory problems and migraines. The university’s facilities team works quickly to address mold growth with UV lights, air purifiers and dehumidifiers, but students are urged to report issues as soon as they notice them. Evangel celebrated the beginning of the holiday season with two cherished traditions. Classy Christmas on Dec. 5 allowed students to dress formally, enjoy holiday refreshments, and participate in festive activities. On Dec. 6, the 40th Annual Christmas Concert featured performances benefiting the Salvation Army, continuing the university’s commitment to community support.
Evangel University’s latest film, MRDR 315, is a murder mystery that challenges students to solve a professor’s death within 24 hours. Directed by Titus Smith and produced by Brenna Crace, the film focuses on character development, with Professor Nancy Pace-Miller portraying a central figure. The film will premiere tonight, Tuesday, Dec. 10, in the Barnett Recital Hall at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Read on for more details about the film’s creation.

The Valor cross country teams proved themselves as formidable competitors this season. The women’s team earned its first national ranking, a significant achievement for the program, while the men’s team secured a top-three finish at the KCAC Conference Championship.
