With the warmer weather and the start of the vaccine rollout - we hope that you, like us, are beginning to feel cautiously optimistic for spring. While we still have a long way to go with regard to the end of pandemic, the beginning of 2021 has provided us with a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel.

Spring is a busy time for us. March is Liver Health Month and Kidney Month - and World Kidney Day falls on March 11. In April - Be A Donor Month - we participate in Green Shirt Day and National Organ and Tissue Awareness Week (NOTDAW). With so many of our favourite healthcare awareness days, weeks and months coming up (as well as a program milestone!) we're definitely feeling the excitement - and with the uncertainty of the pandemic, it's been a long time since we had something to look forward to.

We hope you're finding small moments of joy in your daily routine, and that the spring sunshine is cultivating excitement for what's to come. We hope you'll join us in celebrating our incredible liver and kidney patients, transplant recipients, living donors, donor families, and caregivers in these upcoming events.

Happy March!
