Important Security/Access Change Coming to All Google Apps
To protect the college’s students and sensitive information, MATC is implementing a multi-factor authentication (MFA) system for all students to access Google applications including Gmail, calendars, individual and shared drives. The recommended solution for MATC students is Duo – a free, downloadable smartphone app. Students may begin utilizing the Duo MFA process starting Wednesday, February 1. All students will be required to use DUO MFA by April 2023. Learn more on myMATC.
Blackboard Ultra Courses - Coming Summer 2023
In Summer 2023, the college plans to update Blackboard to the Ultra Course View. This means that all courses offered in Summer 2023 will be run in Ultra Course mode, offering a streamlined user interface that provides a mobile-friendly and student-centered course experience with more efficient workflows. Chromebooks Available through the MATC Library
MATC Libraries will have Chromebooks available for currently enrolled students to check out over the semester starting January 30th, on a first-come-first-serve basis, while supplies last. See the Library FAQ for details.
