Suzanne Védie is a PhD student in biomedical sciences. She holds a Master in Vision Sciences from the University of Paris Saclay (2024). She started her PhD in February 2025 at UCLouvain in the Cognitive Neuropsychology Laboratory. Her research focuses on the eye movements of people with Moebius syndrome during reading and doing arithmetic.

Isabelle Taverna is a PhD student in clinical psychology. She holds a Master in psychology (UMons, 1995) and a training in psychoanalysis with children. She worked in several child psychiatric institutions with autistic and psychotic children. She has been working for over 20 years in the children and families Department of the Centre Chapelle-aux-champs in Woluwé; she is a trainer and the co-coordinator of the Centre de Formation aux Cliniques Psychanalytiques. She works as a psychoanalyst in private practice and is a teaching and research assistant at St Louis UCLouvain. In her research, she explores the concept of frustration in psychoanalytical theory in order to establish what it reveals about the psychic issues that the child goes through.

Laurence Lenoir is our new secretary at CPS. She comes one day a week to manage CPS events and communications.

Le projet APT to ADAPT a pour objectifs de (1) améliorer le processus diagnostique du TSA des adolescents, (2) développer des mesures plus fines de leur cognition sociale, (3) les caractériser en profils multidimensionnels (cognitifs, émotionnels, sociaux et scolaires), (4) explorer les besoins, ressources et résistances des ados, familles et équipes de soins. La finalité est d’intégrer les résultats pour modéliser les profils et trajectoires des jeunes et offrir des guidances et outils pour soutenir le fonctionnement adaptatif et l’autonomie du jeune.

The CLIMEDUC project aims to contribute to delineate what can realistically be expected from education when it comes to address climate change, building on an empirical analysis of educational processes at different levels, their limitations and potentialities for generating change. By combining philosophy, education, sociology and cognitive psychology, CLIMEDUC aims to unravel the interplay between individual actions, social structures, and cognitive processes, to unravel the complex and interdependent mechanisms of change, and to develop a theory of institutional, socio-material, and cognitive change through education. The CLIMEDUC project is divided into 5 complementary and interrelated research axes, each of which corresponds to specific objectives and will lead to 5 doctoral theses, including two supervised by Damien Brevers from IPSY, and one post-doctoral position.
