Pro Video Marketing Tips #2

Welcome back to the Newsletter for Pro Video Marketers like yourself.

This week I want to tell you a story about my own local web design business.

I have been designing websites for the last 15 years. Most of the websites I built were for local business clients, products that I was selling, or for customers that found me online. I’ve even contracted out the site builds and then came in later and made them look nice and enhanced the user experience. I have built WordPress sites, Joomla site, and even html sites using Dreamweaver.

The income was ok, but usually the website builds ended up being a one-time purchase. And on occasion, the customer would ask me to add something to their website. What I came to realize, is this model requires a lot of my time, is not easily scalable (without hiring folks), and certainly not a predictable source of monthly income.

However this all changed late last year, when a friend of mine asked me to set up his website and Facebook page for him. And he wanted me to build a lead funnel for new clients. He wasn’t so much in building a hundred page website as he was in getting new leads on a consistent basis.

What he really wanted was a Lead Funnel that he could use to close more customers. And he especially wanted it built with virtually no maintenance or upkeep on his part. He didn’t mind paying for setup and monthly management. However, he wanted to see new leads on a regular basis.

Since then, I’ve gone on to make a few more lead/sales funnels for clients and for software and training that I’m selling as well. In fact, I’m adopting this system for an ecom store that I own (more details on this later)

This is when the light bulb finally clicked for me, in fact it was more like a searchlight…I am selling NEW leads and customers, NOT building websites. I know this sounds simple, but the fact is clients are more willing to pay for new business that they can track back to my work. AND they are willing to continue paying for it monthly, in most cases.

What I also realized is that most business owners have a crappy social presence, if any at all. And, this is integral to making this all work. You see, Facebook is still one of the best ways (and most efficient) to finding the exact audience that will want your products or services. But you have to do it the right way and in a very systematic approach.

So, why am I sharing this? Because I believe I have cracked the code on how to do this for your local clients. Plus, I am doing less work to build these sales funnels and using tools that significantly speed up my development time. And you can do this too!

When I stopped selling websites, videos, seo, ppc, and social media management. Instead selling a lead generation funnel (which included all the above), I started making a lot more money along with recurring management fees. It’s not just repackaging and rebranding, instead it’s selling results!

And it’s a lot simpler to build with the tools I use on a regular basis...

Here is the overview strategy of what I’m doing. Click here to get this free strategy.

Take this framework and make it your own.

And with 100% transparency, I am building a full blown step-by-step master class, to show you how you can do this too. Plus I’ll be including at that time, an automated “client getting” funnel sequence that you can use yourself. This sales funnel master class series won’t be available until later this year. Folks on this newsletter that click through and watch the strategy training will get first shot at this course when it’s released.

Now let’s get on with the rest of the newsletter….

Enjoy!

Recommendation of the Week

Ranking videos on page 1 of Google is still one of the best ways to make affiliate sales and promote your own products and services. And if you’re reading this newsletter, I suspect that you make some pretty decent video marketing videos as well.

And if you’re a VidPenguin, you should already have one of my secret tools to ranking videos. The 2 other things that will help you tremendously get your video on page 1 of Google is a “seasoned” YouTube with viewers and likes. And the second is a very specific upload method “Live Streaming”.

I have used and recommended in the past, a couple of different ways to “Live Stream” a pre-recorded video. They still work, but what I always look for is simplicity.

One of those recommendations was Live Event Blaster. They recently updated their software and have made live streaming so easy, It only takes 2 clicks to get your video on YouTube. If you don’t have it yet, Check out Live Event Blaster 2, it’s definitely worth the money.
