Dr. Peter Steiner Receives the Causality in Statistics Education Award

AUGUST 27, 2019 — Dr. Peter Steiner, associate professor in the Measurement, Statistics & Evaluation (MSE) program in the Human Development & Quantitative Methodology (HDQM) department, is the co-recipient of the American Statistical Association's prestigious Causality in Statistics Education Award for 2019! This award recognizes faculty making advancements in the teaching and learning of causal inference in statistics. Dr. Steiner has been awarded for his course, "Design and Analysis of Quasi-Experiments for Causal Inference."

Dr. Steiner is a new addition to the HDQM faculty and the University of Maryland, and we look forward to seeing his future accomplishments contribute to the program and to the field of statistics!
