HAMILTON, FOLLIES, Bryan Cranston and THE FERRYMAN Win Critics' Circle Awards

The winners of this year's Critics' Circle Theatre Awards were announced today at a ceremony at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London's West End.

Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton won its first award since opening in London, taking Best Musical, while Best Play went to Jez Butterworth's The Ferryman, which transferred to the Gielgud Theatre following its Royal Court premiere.

Other winners included Everybody's Talking About Jamie star John McCrea, Bryan Cranston for Network at the National Theatre, Andrew Scott winning Best Shakespearean Performance for Hamlet, and Dominic Cooke taking Best Director for Stephen Sondheim's Follies.
