Lots to Think About

Good morning everyone,

We've got some important topics to cover the next few weeks: Education and Suicide Prevention. Kids are top of my mind this week, especially saving for their college. My 11 month old had her first cold last week and it made me feel so helpless. I don't want to feel that way when it comes time to send her to school. If you are still trying to figure out how to leverage your GI Bill and money for education, check out our tip of the week.

Next week we will be having a guest editor covering the topic of suicide prevention so I strongly urge everyone to be on the lookout for that one. A lot of us know or have known people we care about who struggle with this. It may even be ourselves.

On a lighter note, if you need some help on branding yourself as you transition out listen to some advice from Lida Citroen at the 8 minute mark. Branding is an important step that more and more transitioning military are starting to understand. I know it wasn't something that I ever really thought about until I went to a corporate run transitioning seminar. Very important.

Thanks for tuning in and hope to have you all back to hear from our guest editor next week!
