Spring 2019 NCI-UMD Partnership for Integrative Cancer Research Symposium
Our National Cancer Institute-University of Maryland (NCI-UMD) Partnership for Integrative Cancer Research reflects the broad interests of our participating NCI and UMD researchers.  We are delighted to invite you to our annual NCI-UMD Partnership for Integrative Cancer Research Symposium on Friday, February 8th from 10am-4pm which will take place in Bethesda, Maryland in the John Edward Porter Neuroscience Research Center at the National Institutes of Health, Bldg 35A, Room 620/630. Please register and plan to participate in our October symposium. The final agenda will be announced shortly.
Our Cancer Research Symposium highlights results from current collaborations and aims to foster interactions between NCI and UMD in biophysics, systems biology, bioengineering and bioinformatics.  Researchers from other NIH institutes are welcome to participate and collaborate with our UMD colleagues.  We will have a series of short talks and ample break time to discuss possible joint research projects.  We'll pass out information and guidelines for preparing proposals for joint projects whereby the Partnership may support students for up to three years.  The deadline for submitting proposals is March 29, 2019, with project starting dates by the beginning of the Fall 2019 semester.

Please provide the information requested to register for our symposium.

We look forward to seeing you at the symposium.
