Aladdin at the Everyman

THE Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham is going bigger than ever with its annual pantomime Aladdin, starring Tweedy and written and directed by Blue Peter legend Peter Duncan, which is open now and runs until January 13 2019.
Tweedy returns once more to the Everyman stage, playing Wishee Washee with Daniel Beales as Widow Twankey and Ben Darcy as Aladdin.
Chief executive of the theatre Mark Goucher said: “We all look forward to a pantomime at Christmas and this year we really have pulled out all the stops.
“We have a whole new cast and of course, Tweedy the clown will be leading the mayhem. We broke all previous records last year and have already sold more than 20,000 tickets this year so book soon so you don’t miss out on the fun.”

Aladdin at the Swindon Wyvern

SOAP star Adam Woodyatt is returning to Swindon as the ultimate baddie Abanazar in their family pantomime, Aladdin from Saturday, December 8, to Sunday, January 6. 
Adam, best known for his role as Ian Beale in EastEnders, is much-loved by Swindon panto audiences, having previously starred in the venue’s sold-out productions of Peter Pan as Captain Hook and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as Chambers.
Aladdin will mark Adam’s 12th festive season on the panto stage.
Adam has played Ian Beale since the BBC1 soap first aired more than three decades ago. 
He is a recipient of the British Soap Awards Lifetime Achievement Award.

Just So at the Barn Theatre, Cirencester

FIVE of Rudyard Kipling’s tales weave together into a wondrous tale of personal courage, individuality and friendship coming to the Barn Theatre in Cirencester this Christmas from December 5 to January 13, 2019. 
The imaginatively empowering piece of theatre, Just So, is set to an eclectic, upbeat score and will feature the voice of television and stage star Matthew Kelly.
The cast will include Lewis Cornay and Molly Lynch, who will bring Rudyard Kipling’s Just So stories to life.
Kipling’s Just So Stories are woven with wit and imagination into a song-filled journey through the 
jungle.
This Barn Theatre Production is directed by Kirk Jameson and is sure to be a Christmas family favourite.

Peter Pan at Theatre Royal Bath

ONE of the UK’s best-loved actors, Paul Nicholas (EastEnders, The Real Marigold Hotel, Just Good Friends) takes centre stage as Captain Hook in this year’s Theatre Royal Bath panto Peter Pan from December 13 2018-January 13 2019.
Paul is joined by Bath favourite Jon Monie, who plays Hook’s right-hand-man Smee, Rebecca Wheatley from Casualty as Mrs Darling, Tim Edwards as Peter Pan, comedy acrobats The Nitwits as Hook’s hapless pirate crew, and dancers from Bath’s Dorothy Coleborn School of Dance, in this year’s family pantomime.
Peter Pan is a swash-buckling and unmissable Christmas treat with flying, CGI special effects and the traditional ingredients that make Bath pantomimes so special.

Cinderella at Bristol Hippodrome

STRICTLY sensation, comedian, king of pantomime and musical theatre star Brian Conley and celebrity style guru and television presenter Gok Wan are to star in Cinderella at the Bristol Hippodrome from Saturday, December 8, 2018, until Sunday, January 6, 2019.
Brian Conley has appeared in award-winning West End musicals and television sitcoms, presented his own chat shows, and recorded three albums.
Most recently he was a contestant on the 15th series of BBC 1’s Strictly Come Dancing. 
Gok Wan, a regular presenter on ITV1’s This Morning, will play The Fairy Gokmother, offering helpful style tips to the Ugly Sisters and creating a magical ball gown for Cinderella!

Snow White at Stroud Sub Rooms 

STROUD Subscription Rooms will be brimming with talent this Christmas, when ITV`s Britain’s Got Talent finalist Drew Cameron performs as Muddles in this year’s panto Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs which is opening on Friday, December 21, and runs until Monday, December 24. 
Drew is a stand-up chameleon, combining stand-up comedy with impressions of famous people. 
That’s Entertainment Productions have pulled out all the stops in this panto.
As well as Muddles, it features a villainous Wicked Queen, a handsome Prince and the beautiful Snow White, plus the funniest and cutest Seven Dwarves, and a very clever Magic Mirror.
