Holocaust Remembrance Day:

Yesterday (Monday April 24th) was National Holocaust Remembrance Day. In recognition of that event, WAA Staff Reporter Susan Patten released Part One of Luna's story, a first hand account of a concentration camp survivor.

As Luna explained, "I was very determined to survive the war. I never thought I would not survive. If I had allowed myself to think that I would have been done. My big goal was to revenge my past."

Honoring our EOD Techs:

It seems fitting that on Earth Day this year Wreaths Across America will pay tribute to our nation's EOD Technicians in a Stem to Stone Tree-Tagging event on April 22 during which the names of over three hundred fallen service members will be said aloud as their replica dog tags are placed on the tip land in Maine.

Trucking Tributes:

Wreaths Across America shows its gratitude and appreciation for all those involved in transporting America's respect with "Trucking Tributes." These stories will introduce you to the men and women of the industry who make the mission possible.

Like Wreaths Across America, one man's entrepreneurial spirit back in 1934 laid the foundation for Buchheit Logistics in Missouri.

WAA Wednesday Webinars:

This week, we hosted WAA HQ Staff-member Kelly Hinkle to talk about the Stem to Stone program, where families select a remembrance tree to be tagged in honor of their loved one. Kelly and the team in Maine work hard to make each tag request and each visit to the land as personal as possible. Listen for more details...
