Duchess Kate hit all the right notes at '42nd Street' show

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

Duchess Kate had the cast of 42nd Street singing pretty when she stepped out for their opening show Tuesday.

The royal arrived on the scene at London’s West End, dressed to impress in a red tulle, tea length gown by Marchesa, matching heels and clutch, and Kate Spade New York earrings. Slight work for the Duchess of Fab.

But if her presence drew a crowd, it also hopefully drew funds. The West End production of the Broadway classic — which stars Grammy winner Sheena Easton — was held in support of the East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH), which is raising money to construct a new hospice in Norfolk to accommodate their growing number of patients.

Duchess Kate is a royal patron of EACH — just one of the many organizations for which the royals have put their Heads Together.
