EASPD Webinar:
Service providers moving to online support during the Covid-19 pandemic

Wednesday 22nd April, 14h00-15h00 CEST

The Coronavirus outbreak presents a major challenge to national, regional and local communities who are on the frontline in countering the disease. In the face of COVID-19, support service providers are taking their own actions, to be able to continue to provide essential care & support services to those who need it most.

In order to meet the social, educational or therapeutic needs of their users, service providers have adapted their support to provide services remotely, via online platforms.

This webinar will discuss the challenges and opportunities of moving support services onto online platforms, by answering the following questions:

  • How can support services be provided online?
  • How can service providers support their employees during the move to online services? What tools can be provided?
  • What are recommendations of world organisations, such as the World Health Organisation, in delivering online services?
The webinar will take place on Wednesday 22nd April 14h00-15h00 CEST.
