David Tennant returns to the West End

It was announced this morning that David Tennant will be coming to the West End in a new production of C.P. Taylor’s Good. This marks the launch of Dominic Cooke and Kate Horton’s new company Fictionhouse, and will play at the Playhouse Theatre for a strictly limited season from Tuesday 6 October.

The play follows John Halder, a ‘good man’ and a German professor through the turbulence of the growing threat of WWII as he gets swept along in forces bigger than himself.

On the news, David Tennant said:

‘Dominic is one of the UK’s all-time great theatre directors. I am really inspired and delighted to finally get a chance to work with him, and especially on a wonderful play like C P Taylor’s GOOD – a fantastic bit of writing that is more pertinent and resonant now than it has ever been.’

Tickets go on sale tomorrow at midday, so if you’re reading this in the future, use the link below to snap up some tickets before they go!
